The food you will see on this page is not something typically Bulgarian.
Since I was working in the resort of Sunny Beach, I didn't get out of there pretty much.
Because of this, I mainly focused on the hangover food in Sunny Beach.
Believe me, you need this food to be at least a littlebit approachable after such a festive night.
Baked wrap covered with cheese and filled with spinach a la creme and chicken:
My favourite! You should know that I ordered this more than once.
As far as I can share my opinion; this is highly recommended to make at home.
"Normally" you take a wrap out of the package, put it in the microwave for a few seconds and once the wrap has warmed a little bit, you fill it with some vegetables & meat and roll it up. Well, that doesn't exist in this restaurant.
Over here, they prepare it much better than the "normal" way!
Try to imagine that you have an awful hangover from yesterday, you are working on the street on an empty stomach, with the sun shining on your head at 35°C, after 4 long hours of working you finally have the opportunity to eat something and get this dish in front of you. That makes everyone happy in such a situation, doesn't it?!
I ate this dish with a 15% employee discount at .... for 23 LEV.

Stuffed baked potato:
The name says everything, a baked potato that is filled.
You: "Don't be stupid Vincent, we know that too..."
Me: "Okay, okay, shall I explain what's in there?"
This dish contains the following:
- Potato - Peel of potato
- Ham salad - Olives
- Grated cheese - Corn
- Cucumber
Ideal for breakfast, or as a snack to replenish the carbohydrates.
I bought this dish somewhere on the street corner for 11 LEV.

Pork with mushrooms, sweet potato and mashed potatoes:
This is both the last dish on the page and the last thing I ate in Sunny Beach.
To be honest, it was very tasty!
It may sound a bit crazy, but while eating this dish I had a nostalgic moment of home again.
You can say a lot, but this is quickly starting to come close to the Dutch cuisine.
After I had finished this artisinal dish, I asked about the chef. I almost started to believe that my mother was in the kitchen, it was so tasty!
I also ate this dish again at .... for 22 LEV.
If you can eat pretty good somewhere with a discount, why shouldn't you?
